The European Union Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive 2011/65/EU restricts the use of six substances in electrical and electronic products: Lead (Pb), Mercury (Hg), Cadmium (Cd), Hexavalent Chromium (Cr VI), Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBBs) and Polybrominated Diphnenyl Ethers (PBDEs).
