“Conflict Minerals” refers to certain minerals and their derivatives mined in the eastern province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the adjoining countries, “Conflict Region”, where revenues are generated by their sale may be directly financing armed groups engaged in civil war resulting in serious social and environmental abuses. In July 2010, the United States passed the Dodd-Frank Financial Reform Bill. Section 1502 of this bill requires all US stock listed companies and their suppliers to disclose the chain of custody usage of Conflict Minerals (Tin, Tungsten, Tantalum and Gold)
Through our own investigations and information obtained from our suppliers, we are confident that the materials used in the manufacturing of our components, do not contain these minerals. Aubin Industries raw materials suppliers assure that their products do not contain “Conflict Minerals” These minerals include:
- Gold (Au)
- Tin (Sn)
- Tungsten (W)
- Tantalum (Ta)
Based on the material declarations from our suppliers and our investigations, Aubin Industries, Inc., does not knowingly supply products containing “Conflict Minerals” sourced from the stated “Conflict Region”
